New director at Goethe-Institut Kigali

Katharina Hey is a literary researcher and historian by training. The last years, she was a scientific researcher in the field of contemporary history at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. Her research focussed on transnational religious history and the cultural history of France and Israel during the 20st century.
Under her lead, the Goethe-Institut will continue to engage with the local cultural and artistic scene and be an open house for intercultural exchange and creative production.
